World War Z!
In a Directed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack, attackers overwhelm websites and servers by bombardment with “traffic.” They use a network of compromised computers known as “zombies” to do so. The owners of these compromised computers have no idea that their equipment is moonlighting as a zombie minion.
