Jefferson v. Hamilton
Who signs, and with what so-called proper name, the declarative act which founds an institution?
We, collectively, make cyberspace. The Internet is merely the space the code-writers give us. Nothing more, nothing less. No gods give us this code; we are the code-writers, the architects and builders of that space, the noplace.
We are the sovereign power and grant ourselves the power and authority just because we are the code-writers. It is We of the People who writes the Epoch of Cyberspace and are bearing witness to the very beginning of a centuries-long conversation about who we fundamentally are.
